Sucker rod pumps occasionally encounter solid particles during operation. Oftentimes these solids harmlessly pass through the pump. Other times they cause the pump traveling and/or standing valves to not sit properly, rendering pump action loss.
The Unico SRP (sucker rod pump) variable speed drive can detect loss of pump action and automatically execute a patented Pump Clean™ mode. The Pump Clean™ mode can restore pump action / re-seat traveling or standing valve and reduce rod float / sticky pump.
